As far as I know I am the first photographer to have had this honor so naturally I am very pleased and proud for this to happen after many years of hard work.

Dynalite Inc announces the formation of a relationship with photographer Richard Franklin.

Dynalite Inc is a leading manufacturer of photographic lighting and accessories. Today it announces the formation of a unique relationship with renowned Artistic and Glamour photographer Richard Franklin.

The intent is to jointly introduce one of the companies most popular strobe lights, the UNI 400 to the non- professional market. It is estimated that there are roughly one billion SLR units in the world today and the non professional owner and potential owner is generally unaware the choices available of strobe based power sources.

The company believes that whilst the revolution in camera technology is universally acknowledged that there has also been a revolution in strobe lighting and that the power, affordability, versatility, durability and portability of some of today’s strobe units have not been recognised by the non professional market of camera enthusiasts.

In order to enter this market Dynalite has created a version of the UNI 400 that has a consumer friendly exterior based upon the suggestions of Richard Franklin. The casing comes in a ultra white high gloss durable coating in contrast to the pewter grey professional version. In all other respects the light specifications are identical to the current model.

Richard Franklin approached Dynalite based upon his firm conviction that the non professional market has considerable growth potential and that he wished to recommend Dynalite’s UNI 400 as the best product at the best price as part of his outreach campaign to the universal amateur marketplace.
